Today I spent a vacation day with my favorite photog and travel companion Alisha Westerfeld.  We headed south from the Bay Area to Carmel by the Sea for an afternoon adventure.  Carmel can best be described as a quaint and well-heeled destination, filled with older richer folk and tourists of all shapes and sizes.  We window shopped, had a fine lunch, took a self-guided tour of the Carmel Mission, and spent some time at the shore.  We spotted a whale, sea lions, seals, and sea otters at the Carmel Beach, and also on our journey down the 17-mile drive, timed to catch the sunset.   Such a fun day!
