Over Mother’s Day weekend, I visited The Living Desert in Palm Desert, Ca.   This is a zoo and botanical garden devoted to the flora and fauna of the deserts of the world.  I took a moment to sit in one of the oasis to contemplate the beauty of the desert.  If you are planning at trip to the Palm Springs area, you might want to spend the morning with Mountain Lions, Giraffes, and African Wild Dogs, and hundreds of plants and trees from around the world.
