Upward view of the Bee Hive central dome in the National Museum of the American Indian, Washington DC. Inside of this architecturally stunning museum, the walls curve and undulate, rippling in waves up through to the soaring dome. It makes an exquisite framework for the vast collection of arts and artifacts. You take an elevator up and swirl down through different cultural regions. As someone with distant Aleut ancestory, it was a wonderful experience to taste foods in the cafe inspired by the lands of my forebearers in a moving and delicious moment!
