In 2015, San Francisco was enjoying the 100 year anniversary of the Panama-Pacific International Exhibition. There were several exhibitions scattered throughout the city to celebrate this fair and the impact it had on the city. One of the few remaining structures from the fair, and only one remains in situ. The Palace of Fine Arts is now a multi use community and exhibition space. The dramatic portico wings out to embrace a luminous duckpond. These swans came out to greet me as I wandered around the space, and I was lucky enough to catch this sweet little snapshot with my cellphone. Sadly, I didn’t have the snacks these swans were craving.
