I was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to Munich in 2011 and spent an entire day wandering through the streets of the old downtown.  I spotted a high baroque church and poked my head in and was amazed by the beauty of the barrel vaults and soaring dome. The Theatiner Kirche was built in the Italianate style between 1663 and 1690.
