Each year, I take my mum on a cruise to Mexico.  She loves the country, she loves the cruising lifestyle.  This year, we took the Holland America ship the Westerdam on a seven-day trip, stopping at three ports of call. We stayed on board in Cabo San Lucas and enjoyed the shipboard activities.  At the second stop, Mazatlan, we took a leisurely stroll the historic streets, have lunch on the square, visit our favorite coffee shop, Casa Etnika where I picked up some coffee beans, my mum bought some gifts for my niece and brother, and we shared a cup of amazing Mexican drinking chocolate.   The beach was completely empty except for one lonely sun worshipper.  I’m already looking forward to our annual trip for 2017!
