In March of 2015, my buddy and my mom took a week-long cruise out of San Diego to the Mexican Riviera on the Holland American ship Veendam. It was a glorious trip with three stops. First was Cabo San Lucas on the tip of Baja California, MX. The town was a tourist trap with little history and nothing but resorts and bars. We got off the boat, ate lunch, and got back on board in ample time to watch a storm roll in just about sunset. I enjoyed this trip so much, I’m headed back for another week! Good food, excellent service, and a casually elegant atmosphere – I loved only have to unpack once – and still see multiple cities including Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.
