Perhaps one of the most beautiful and serene locations in the heart of downtown Portland is the Lan Su Chinese Garden.  Although small in stature, it packs a huge punch, with historic inspired Chinese architecture, beautifully maintained gardens, and a glorious, koi-filled pond.  I recommend stopping here on your next trip to Portland to enjoy a touch of the east on the western edge of the US.   For more information visit their website: www.lansugarden.org
